Jeffrey P. Bishop (M.D., Ph.D.) is the Director of the Albert Gnaegi Center for Health Care Ethics and Tenet Chair of Health Care Ethics at Saint Louis University. He is also the author of The Anticipatory Corpse: Medicine, Power, and the Care of the Dying (University of Notre Dame Press, 2011). Dr. Bishop’s scholarly interests include the historical, political, and philosophical conditions that underpin contemporary medical and scientific practices and theories. Andrea C. White (M.Div., Ph.D.) is an Assistant Professor of Theology and Culture at Emory University, Candler School of Theology. Dr. White specializes in constructive Christian theology, Womanist theology, and postmodern religious thought, and also has experience as a hospice chaplain. For more, click here.
